Rolex Datejust ref. 1601 from 1970 combines a black dial with a steel case in the classic 36 mm diameter. The fluted bezel and characteristic domed acrylic crystal are details that distinguish this generation from later Datejust models. The dark dial gives the watch a bolder look, while the five-link Jubilee bracelet remains one of the most recognizable elements of this collection.
Datejust 1601: condition and finish
The case has been preserved in very good condition, while there are scratches resulting from use visible on the bezel and case back. The crystal is in near-new condition. The black dial creates a sharp contrast with the light indices and the steel elements of the watch.
Movement and set
The automatic movement has been recently serviced and is covered by a 2-year warranty from our TimeLab service center. The set includes a TheWatchRegister certificate and a 2-year movement warranty card.

This Rolex watch is covered by our service warranty ( 24 months ). Simply submit a warranty claim to us to determine if the fault is eligible for free repair. Warranty diagnosis is made within 5 business days of receiving your claim. Depending on the fault, we may need to inspect your watch before making a final decision. The repair time depends on the type of fault. If you purchased a brand new watch and it's still under manufacturer's warranty, your watch will be sent back to the manufacturer for repair. Learn more.
Up to 14 days from the date of your online purchase, you can return this unused product in person at one of our showrooms or via courier. In the case of shipping, Rarist is responsible for arranging an insured courier service.
