Rarist Approved is a detailed watch certification program. Before being added to our collection, each piece undergoes a multi-stage verification process based on our team’s years of experience and expertise. We check the authenticity of the parts and configuration, the watch’s provenance, and its condition to ensure it meets our high standards.
By choosing a watch with this designation, you know that before going on sale, it has been carefully assessed in many respects: not only in terms of authenticity, but also its technical condition. The card contains information about the watch's components, a detailed description of the individual piece, its service history or information about its last inspection, confirmation of our 24-month movement warranty, and an extract from The Watch Register database.
Description
The Patek Philippe "Nugget" 4121/1 is a model made of yellow gold with dimensions of 28.5 x 25.5 mm, whose form seamlessly connects the case with an integrated bracelet. This reference stands out with a characteristic 1970s aesthetic, and its most recognizable element remains the dial, referred to by collectors as "nugget," composed of irregular, mirrored fragments in a blue gold hue.
4121/1: Case, Dial and Condition
The case and bezel have retained their factory edges and have been described as never polished, which perfectly highlights the sculptural nature of this reference. The dial remains in good condition, with natural signs of aging, and the crystal is free of scratches. The case back retains all markings and a sticker, while the integrated bracelet fits wrists up to 16 cm and shows discoloration on the inside. The watch is powered by a recently serviced movement, working flawlessly.
Movement, Warranty and Set
The set includes a box, an extract from the archives, a two-year warranty on the movement from our TimeLab service, and a certificate from TheWatchRegister.
