Cartier Santos Vendôme ref. 8192 from around 1990 features a tropical-hued burgundy dial, whose deep red beautifully contrasts with the steel case. Unlike the classic Santos, the Vendôme features a round shape with characteristic screws on the bezel. With a diameter of 27 mm, the watch retains the subtle proportions typical of elegant Cartier models from the turn of the 80s and 90s.
Santos Vendôme 8192: condition and finish
The piece retains an attractive burgundy dial, which is the strongest element of its appearance. The steel case has minor scratches, while the bracelet shows natural signs of wear. The crystal has light scratches, and the original sticker is still on the case back. The clasp works correctly.
Movement and set
The watch is powered by a quartz movement, which has recently been serviced. This solution is characteristic of many elegant Cartier models from this period, allowing the slim proportions of the case to be maintained.

This Cartier watch is covered by our service warranty (24 months); simply submit a warranty claim to us so we can determine whether the fault is covered by free repair. The warranty diagnosis is carried out within 5 business days of us receiving the claim. Depending on the fault, we may need to inspect your watch before making a final decision. The repair time, if necessary, depends on the type of fault. If you purchased a brand-new watch that is still covered by the manufacturer's warranty, it will be returned to them for repair. For 14 days after an online purchase, you can return this unused product in person to one of our stores or via courier. In the case of shipping, Rarist is responsible for arranging the insured courier service.

The next step is to get your watch to us by shipping it or leaving it at one of our boutiques. The watch will be inspected for authenticity and overall technical condition by our authorized service center, after which we will be able to provide a final valuation.
Once you accept our offer, you can receive the full amount or use it to purchase a new piece at our boutique.
